Biography
Mr. Mills steps into the Assistant Principal role this year, bringing almost 19 years of experience in various roles of teaching, coaching, and administration. He taught Health, PE, and all grade levels of History classes at several different schools in Alabama, as well as a year and a half as an Assistant Principal at Clay Chalkville High School. He also has experience as an Athletic Director. His coaching roles through the years included football, basketball, baseball, golf, soccer, and track. He received his Bachelors Degree in History and Education from the University of West Alabama in 2004 and was a 4-year letterman for the Tiger football team. He completed his Master’s Degree from Samford University in Instructional Leadership in 2013. He has been married to his wife, Sandy for 14 years and they have 2 children…Dean 10, and Anna 9.
