On February 12, 2026, Springville High School Wrestlers Fischer Lundberg, Callen Hettich and Alec Swallows along with their coaches headed to the State Wrestling Meet at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville, AL. After Day 1 all three wrestlers were still in and advanced to Day 2. After Day 2, Callen Hettich 165lb advanced to wrestle in the finals for 1st place and Fischer Lundberg 113lb advanced to wrestle for 3rd place. Unfortunately Alec Swallows 190lb went 1-2 and finished in the top 6 of the state with one of the hardest brackets this year. On Day 3, Springville History was made with Callen Hettich winning the 5A State Championship Individual in the 165 lb weight class. Callen Hettich (Springville) 33-7 won by decision over Kadin Walter (Arab) 31-3 in the final match. Fischer Lundberg finished fourth in the 113lb 5A State Championship match.
